Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking an AEGIS Watchstander at Port Hueneme, CA. The role requires on-site, 12-hour rotational shifts, including nights and weekends, with eligibility for a Secret clearance and SIPR access.

You will monitor fleet requests, triage issues, and coordinate with SMEs while logging incidents in ITSM and generating daily readiness reports. This position supports NSWC PHD and AEGIS Fleet Readiness programs.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance (Secret).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SIPR access and comply with classified systems, releasability, disclosure, and security requirements.
• Technical school diploma, associate degree, equivalent military training, or relevant technical/watchstanding experience.
• On-site at a Government facility on a 12-hour rotational shift schedule; telework is not authorized.
• Ability to document requests accurately in ITSM or other ticketing tools.
• Ability to read and follow Watch Orders, SOPs, and direction from leadership.
• Strong attention to detail, written communication skills, and readiness documentation.

Responsibilities

• Stand a formal 24/7 watch from a designated shore facility in support of AEGIS Fleet Readiness and Distance Support operations.
• Monitor and respond to fleet requests via chat, email, and phone within established timelines and procedures.
• Provide front-line customer service to Fleet units; triage requests and coordinate with SMEs or stakeholders.
• Generate, update, and maintain tickets in ITSM or other designated tools.
• Conduct proper shift turnover and maintain continuity of watch operations across day and night sections.
• Review CASREPs, CASUPs, and readiness information; update charts and status files as required.
• Prepare and distribute required daily reports, including AEGISTT 24/7 and Ship Defense daily reports.
• Upload required report documentation to classified sites and maintain accuracy.
• Attend required training and become TQS qualified within the timeframe after SIPR access.
