Parsons in Virginia is seeking an onsite data analytics engineer to blend hands-on data engineering with predictive analytics for missile defense and advanced system engineering outcomes.

You will apply Palantir Foundry to build data ontology, automate data integration, and develop insights that shift the program from reactive reporting to proactive decision-making, leveraging MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and Teams.

Job description

Parsons is building mission-focused analytics support for the Fleet, helping transition engineering activities from reactive reporting toward proactive decision-making. This onsite role in Virginia combines hands-on data engineering with predictive analytics to support missile defense capability and advanced system engineering outcomes.

Compensation: USD 103,500 - 181,100 per year.

What you’ll do

• Apply specialized Palantir Foundry expertise to support the required data ontology for the program.
• Support automated data integration to improve how data is connected and made available for analysis.
• Develop predictive analytical insights that support AB system engineering decisions.
• Help drive program transition from reactive reporting to proactive decision-making.
• Contribute to all areas of data analytics related to AB system engineering.

What you’ll bring

• US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance (an active Secret security clearance is required).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline, plus 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Note: Newly-hired PhD graduates are typically hired into this level.
• Mastery of the MS Office suite and familiarity with collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Teams.
• Missile System Experience.
