Job summary

A leading consulting firm based in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Senior Engineer to support data initiatives within the Defense sector. The successful candidate will drive impactful solutions using Palantir's platforms, design data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has substantial experience with Palantir Foundry, a strong coding background, and is comfortable translating complex business workflows into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building data-driven products.
• 2+ years hands-on in Palantir Foundry, AIP or Ontology.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and API integrations.
• Proficient with Transform API within Foundry.
• Proficient with batch, real time use case realization in Foundry using Pipeline Builder.
• Must have implementation experience with objects, links, actions, and functions in the Ontology with the ability to structure and relate data using the Object Data Layer.
• Ability to design dynamic and interactive workflows, leveraging Workshop’s events system and layouts.
• Implementing complex logic using custom Functions (e.g., Python, TypeScript) within Workshop widgets.
• Strong coding experience in Python, PySpark, TypeScript, and SQL proficiency.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• DoD Secret clearance or higher required (can be sponsored).

Silverthorne Advisory Group is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Senior Engineer to join an exciting and growing opportunity within the Defense sector. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll apply your problem solving ability and technical skills to help organizations use their data to drive a real impact. Our customers rely on Palantir’s platforms for some of their most critical operations and analytics. Your day might span discussing architecture with fellow engineers, wrangling massive-scale data, coding a custom web app, speaking with customer executives, or establishing strategy for your team.
