Job Description
YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Selling Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the business strategy and leading the daily operations of the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into high-performing sellers who consistently provide an unforgettable guest experience. Through your leadership, your team always nails their sales goals, rocks merchandising brand standards and delivers operational excellence! Most importantly, you represent our company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.

Your Responsibilities
  • Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty, analyze reporting and trends, and develop business plans to meet KPIs.
  • People leadership: Motivate, inspire, and hold your team accountable to AEO's customer service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  • Talent development: Recruit, hire, train, and develop your team to ensure outstanding service and continuous growth.
  • Team building: Provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance reviews, and celebrate successes to drive engagement.
  • Operational execution: Maintain visual standards, ensure guest-ready Fitting Rooms, and support daily store operations.
  • Integrity: Uphold safety standards, Asset Protection, adhere to policies, and do the right thing always.
Qualifications
  • Passion for AE and Aerie products
  • Experience leading retail teams
  • Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Leadership and understanding of employment law
  • Business acumen
  • Flexible availability to meet store needs
