Job summary

The SC Department of Children's Advocacy is seeking an Advocate Supervisor to oversee volunteers in Family Court, provide guidance, and manage case-related tasks. The role supports recruitment and training, data entry, and coordinating court preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent as approved by the Division of State Human Resources (DSHR).
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Assigns volunteers to children in cases of child abuse/neglect and provides supervision to ensure compliance with laws and program objectives.
• Maintains and inputs case data into the database, tracking monthly monitoring reports.
• Assists with training and recruiting volunteers to ensure adequate pool for all cases.
• Performs administrative functions supporting county office goals and program operations.
• Provides direct child advocacy as Guardian ad Litem when needed.
• Completes special assignments from County Director.
