Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking Hourly, Part-Time Advocates to serve youth and families across Arapahoe County. The role offers a $19.00 hourly rate with flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed, and weekly pay.

You will provide direct advocacy services, build positive role modeling, and collaborate with families and schools to support wraparound plans. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and experience working with

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
• Experience working with at-risk youth.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with an electronic health record system is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
• Reliable insured transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required.

Status: Part Time Hourly

Hourly Rate: $19.00

Flexible Schedule; Non-Traditional Hours - Evenings and Weekends may be required.

Summary of Position: Hourly, Part-Time Advocate positions serving youth and families throughout Arapahoe County are available.

• Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings
• Primary Responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
• All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model
• Position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.
