Job summary

Voices for Children in Riverside County seeks an Advocacy Supervisor to lead and supervise CASAs, ensuring the best interests of foster children are presented to the Court. You will manage a large volunteer caseload, provide mentorship, and support program operations to advance the mission of protecting vulnerable children.

You will supervise volunteers, assist with recruitment and training, and collaborate with agencies, legal counsel, and community resources.

Qualifications

• College Degree or equivalent (e.g. relevant experience in volunteer management, social work, case management, program development, or related field in public/non-profit)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Must have access to reliable transportation for frequent travel throughout Riverside County and occasional travel to San Diego County
• Must meet screening requirements per CA Rules of Court

Responsibilities

• Maintain an ongoing caseload involving approximately 40-50 CASAs
• Provide supervision and support to CASAs in their duties
• Establish monthly contact with all volunteers and maintain records
• Conduct annual evaluations and file written records
• Assist recruitment, training, and retention efforts
• Participate in interview, screening, and assignment processes
• Attend meetings and IEPS when needed
• Support program management and leadership as required
• Refer requests for legal advice to counsel
