The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is seeking a supervisory Advocate Services Manager for the Office of Family Safety to oversee two Family Justice Centers, JCAC and FSC. This non-Civil Service role focuses on staff development, performance management, and high-risk client support, reporting to the Director of Client Services.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• Experience supervising and scheduling a large staff.
• Crisis management experience.
• Strong administrative skills with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
• Understanding of domestic violence dynamics and effective intervention.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse groups and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Background check completed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide ongoing feedback/coaching on client service through shadowing, observation, and check-ins.
• Oversee onboarding and training of advocacy staff; coordinate professional development.
• Advise staff on assisting high-risk and high-needs clients; conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and scheduling of advocacy staff; ensure coverage.
• Conduct bi-weekly case reviews and quality assurance of client service data.
• Support policy/protocol development and crisis management as needed.
• Provide direct client services as required.
• Coordinate relationships with partners and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
