Habitat for Humanity SKKC in the Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties region seeks an Advocacy & Grassroots Coordinator to develop and manage its grassroots program, recruit volunteers, and coordinate campaigns across the service area.

You'll build relationships with homeowners, partners, and community leaders, organize listening sessions and community events, and support legislative activities in pursuit of affordable homeownership and racial equity.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum qualifications include 1–2 years in community organizing, civic engagement, advocacy, campaigning, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and engage volunteers or community members around a shared cause through relational organizing.
• Strong written communication skills to draft advocacy copy and translate policy into plain language.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners, with a commitment to affordable housing and racial equity.

Aufgaben

• Develop and manage Habitat for Humanity SKKC's grassroots advocacy program.
• Recruit, train, and support a network of community leaders across the service area.
• Plan and host community gatherings to engage neighbors and build advocacy capacity.
• Coordinate advocacy campaigns and manage CRM assets (actions, landing pages, forms, templates).
