Job summary

Sorren seeks a valuation professional to perform detailed financial analyses, prepare advanced business valuation reports, and manage smaller client engagements for timely, actionable insights.

You will collaborate with partners and clients, offer data-driven recommendations, and mentor junior staff while contributing to firm growth. Requires CPA/ABV/CVA/CBA or eligible and 3–5 years in valuation, strong Excel and financial modeling skills; on-site in Medford, OR.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • CPA/ABV/CVA/CBA licensed or eligible.
  • 3–5 years in business valuation or related work.
  • Strong valuation methodologies and metrics knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; client-facing.

This position requires collaborating with team members and clients, contributing strategic recommendations, and mentoring junior staff to support high-quality advisory services and client growth objectives.Your Impact (Essential Duties):Perform detailed financial analyses and support the development of business valuation and advisory reports for a wide range of clientsActively engage with clients/team members to explain financial findings, offer data-driven insights, and provide actionable recommendations for improvementTake ownership of smaller consulting engagements, managing project timelines, deliverables, and communication with stakeholdersContribute strategic insights based on financial and operational data to help improve client growth, profitability, and efficiencyPrepare advanced business reports and presentation materials, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strategic valueCollaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver holistic advisory solutions and maintain strong client relationshipsMentor junior team members by reviewing work, providing feedback, and sharing knowledgePerform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadershipMeet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual and team performance and overall firm productivityYour Background:Required - 3–5 years of experience in business valuation or related workRequired - CPA, CVA, ABV, CBA license or eligibleRequired - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related fieldUnderstanding of complex accounting principles, including debits/credits, journal entries, and financial statementsStrong understanding of valuation methodologies and business metricsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insightsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial modeling toolsEagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentExperience in client-facing roles within a valuation or advisory settingProven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaborativelyFamiliarity with a range of industries, business models, and financial structuresFull-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlinesWhy Choose Us?At Sorren, we’re invested in your growth—both personally and professionally.
