Job summary

Independent Financial Group, LLC in San Diego seeks an Advisory Platform Specialist to support IFG’s advisory ecosystem, including AccessPoint/Envestnet and TAMPs. You will help ensure accurate billing, account administration, advisor onboarding, and platform controls.

Collaborating with Operations, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and Product Consulting, you will drive process improvements and scalable advisor experiences.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree required.
• FINRA Series 7 license required or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.
• Minimum of two years of financial services industry experience.
• Prior experience with a broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, advisory operations, or wealth management firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily administration of IFG's advisory product and platform ecosystem, including AccessPoint/Envestnet, custodial platforms, TAMPs, and other third-party systems.
• Administer advisory platform access and account maintenance throughout the advisor lifecycle, including new user setup, representative changes, account reassignment, transitions, and terminations.
• Coordinate advisory account maintenance and exception activity, including trade corrections, share class conversions, rebates, billing corrections, and other account-level changes.
• Monitor advisory accounts and platform activity to ensure accurate billing, complete documentation, appropriate account setup, and timely resolution of exceptions.
• Support relationships with TAMPs, custodians, platform providers, and other Advisory partners, and assist with the implementation and testing of platform enhancements and new capabilities.
