KPMG is seeking an Advisory Intern, Strategy Technology in the US to help assess IT opportunities and manage risks within deal advisory integration and separation. You will evaluate IT performance, support IT operations integration, and assist in vendor renegotiations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires enrollment in a college program with a 3.0+ GPA, knowledge of enterprise software systems, IT infrastructure, and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics, or related quantitative field from an accredited college or university
  • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Understanding or experience with the following technical disciplines: enterprise software systems, IT architecture and infrastructure, IT operations, or something of similar nature; ability to prioritize/organize diverse material
  • Strong in technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility skills; demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes, coupled with a professional demeanor and a collaborative leadership approach, in a dynamic, evolving environment
  • Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (with an emphasis on Excel) and AI and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications used by our clients
  • Strong communication, organization and relationship-building skills, with the ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism, manage priorities across multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work in a professional services capacity
  • Must reside within a commutable distance of the office for this position and be responsible for your own transportation, such as personal vehicle or public transportation, to get to and from office / client locations to satisfactorily fulfill your job duties, as determined by your practice leadership; work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need; you must be located within the U.S. when working remotely; client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay

  • Complete wide-ranging offshoring of high labor activities, provide renegotiation support of key IT vendor contracts at the direction of management and help identify improvement opportunities for IT governance and project selection
  • Work with cross-functional teams in implementing solutions
  • Participate in the development and presentation of final project deliverables
