SEO is seeking a Part-Time Advisory CurriculumWriter in New York, NY. The role designs and refines advisory curriculum for grades 9–12, supporting student development and college/career readiness.
You’ll help hire instructors, observe lessons, and provide effective feedback, working with the Advisory CurriculumDevelopment team. The position is 15–20 hours per week, hybrid (1 day in SEO office at 55 Exchange Place).

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Part-Time Advisory CurriculumWriter is responsible for: 1. designing, developing, and refining Advisory curriculum that is research based, culturally responsive, and supports students’ self-development, critical thinking, and college and career readiness; and 2. supporting the part-time Advisory instructor hiring process and conducting instructor observations. This role works under the direction of the Assistant Director of Advisory CurriculumDevelopment and collaborates with instructors, teaching and learning managers, cross-functional teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is a skilled curriculum writer with experience working with high school-aged students, who is adept at project management and thrives on creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking design.
