Job summary

Bridgewater Associates is seeking a Management Partner to join the Client Service & Marketing’s Advisory management team in a hybrid capacity at our Westport, CT campus. The MP will operate in two modes: managing the advisory book’s execution and driving talent strategy across a team of 3–4 associates, with dotted-line leadership of senior staff.

You’ll partner with regional heads and firm leadership to align priorities and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management or leadership experience with direct team management.
• Strong program/project management skills across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent judgement and ability to collaborate across levels.
• Outstanding written and verbal communications; able to convey complex matters clearly.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational outcomes for the team; define goals, risks, and roadmaps.
• Work cross-functionally to deliver on commercial commitments and priorities.
• Build and maintain systems and controls for the team’s operations.
• Lead cross-cutting strategic initiatives from framing to execution.
• Drive talent planning, staffing, and design decisions with leadership.
• Collaborate with Regional Heads and peers on process and budget reviews.
• Manage assigned team performance, coaching, and compensation.
• Navigate personnel issues with discretion and good judgement.
• Act as escalation owner and ensure transparency and clear recommendations.
• Contribute to the broader management bench and establish standards.
