Business Management Company, Inc. seeks an Accounting Manager to help business owners understand their numbers and make better decisions.

You will lead client relationships, guide tax planning, and review your team's work, with quarterly conversations with every client. This role requires a public accounting background, a strong foundation in corporate and individual tax preparation, and the ability to lead discussions about financial health and strategy.

Qualifications

• Public accounting background preferred and strong tax preparation/review skills.
• Ability to lead client conversations about financial health and strategy.
• Enjoy helping other accountants develop their skills and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own advisory relationships for a portfolio of business clients, meeting quarterly to discuss financials, projections, and tax-saving opportunities.
• Review financial statements and tax returns prepared by staff, and explain returns to clients annually.
• Identify additional advisory needs and help clients act on them.
• Mentor Senior and Staff Accountants and partner with Accounting Services Director on team development.
