Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee a portfolio of owner-led clients within a growing advisory-focused firm. You will manage the accounting cycle and provide strategic insights to clients, strengthening financial reporting and business decisions.

You will lead month-end close, review statements, and guide a team of accounting professionals, all within a supportive hybrid work environment with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in CAS, outsourced accounting, public accounting, or multi-client environments.
• Experience overseeing month-end close and reviewing financial statements.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting and advisory experience for a portfolio of business-owner clients.
• Review month-end close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Lead client meetings and communicate financial results, KPIs, cash flow, and business performance insights.
• Coordinate and review work completed by accounting support team members.
• Identify accounting issues and ensure accurate, client-ready financial reporting.
• Improve workflows and drive operational efficiencies across client engagements.

Education
