Job summary

The Hartford in Wayne, PA, is seeking an entry level Sales Support Associate to support financial advisors and internal sales professionals. You will learn Hartford Funds’ mutual fund and ETF businesses, obtain securities licenses, and participate in comprehensive training.

You will handle calls, explain product features, and assist with marketing materials as you grow in a fast-paced team environment. Upon licensing, you will engage in outbound discussions about new products and marketing ideas

• Passed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam is a requirement.

• Place supply orders for marketing material.
• Follow-up with representatives with answers to questions or to confirm receipt of information.
• Log phone calls into the computer system for tracking purposes.
• Act as a liaison between home office and wholesalers in the field.
• Assist in the training and development process of new employees.
• Once licensed, make outbound calls to financial advisors regarding new products and ideas.

Hartford Funds is seeking entry level Advisor Support Consultants in its Wayne, PA location. This position will give selected individuals the exciting opportunity to learn our Mutual Fund and ETF businesses and obtain securities licenses. Advisor Support Consultants will work with financial advisors, advisor consultants, and internal sales professionals to further their knowledge of the financial services industry. If you are smart and eager to learn, then you will develop the skills and expertise needed to thrive at Hartford Funds. Our robust and ongoing training program provides the resources and tools that new hires need to be successful.

What are the responsibilities of the position?

Compensation The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is: $55,000 - $55,000
