Job summary

Simplicity Group in Summit, NJ is seeking a full-time, on-site Financial Planner and Portfolio Planning Specialist. This is not an Analyst role; the focus is on building strong relationships, planning investments, and helping independent advisors invest properly in the stock market using our proprietary platform.

The ideal candidate will generate investment proposals, conduct portfolio analysis, coach Advisors, and deliver educational webinars.

Qualifications

3+ years of consecutive work experience in financial services
Experience in a Financial Services capacity (RIA, IAR, Bank, Broker Dealer, Annuity, Life)
Proficient in Google Office Suite (Excel, Word, Drive, Email)
High ethical standards and alignment with firm values

Responsibilities

Meet with affiliated Advisors to collect client information and build relationships.
Input and analyze client data in the Simplicity Wealth Platform.
Generate investment proposals and perform portfolio analysis for Advisors.
Provide advisor coaching, training and knowledgeable support.
Educate Advisors through webinars to teach Planning best practices.
Manage inbound inquiries with timely, quality responses.
