Advisor – Investment Platform Strategy (Part-Time / Advisory Role)

Energy Shift Forum (https://energyshift.forum/) is building a digital infrastructure to connect our trusted community of investors and climate innovators with curated early-stage dealflow. We’re a mission-driven team preparing for a public platform launch in late 2025, aligned with the Energy Shift Forum Davos.

We are now seeking an experienced Platform Advisor to help us evaluate technology options and guide us through early-stage setup.

Summary of the Role

This role will shape the foundational decisions for our investment and community platform—from selecting the right vendor (e.g. Velvet, Flowlie, Dealum) to advising on scalable workflows for investor onboarding, deal curation, and integrating an investment vehicle. You’ll work directly with the co-founders to ensure we make the smartest decisions early—lean, cost-effective, and scalable.

Success in this role means the platform is selected, implemented, and populated with core users and workflows by our November 2025 public launch, with an eye toward long-term fund-readiness in 2026.

• Evaluate and compare investment platform vendors against our use case
• Guide the founders in defining product priorities and Phase 1/Phase 2 architecture
• Advise on technical or operational risks in implementation
• Share best practices around investor UX, backend tooling, and community management
• Optional: Assist with onboarding workflows and integration guidance (e.g. LP dashboards, CRM, or data room tools)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with investment platforms, syndicate tooling, or VC/angel platforms
• Familiarity with tools such as Velvet, Flowlie, Dealum, Carta, or AngelList Stack
• Strategic understanding of dealroom, LP management, or SPV workflows
• Clear communicator who enjoys advising founders and working in early-stage environments
• Bonus: Exposure to climate and energy sector investing, or community-driven investing

This is an advisory role with potential for long-term collaboration.
