Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in statistics/analytics/machine learning.
• Knowledge of data science methodologies including regression, neural nets, sequence analysis, cluster analysis, and text mining.
• Experience with multi-dimensional and/or relational databases such as NoSQL, OLAP, and others.
• Experience in manipulating high-volume, high-dimensional data from varied sources using tools like R, MATLAB, SAS.
• Experience with data cleansing, validation and general quality control principles.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, programs methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse big data sources using machine learning and predictive modeling tools.
• Builds analytic models to identify and quantify solutions to business problems and communicates insights to clients and managers.
• Provides leadership to less experienced personnel towards building software programs, algorithms and automated processes for large datasets.
• Determines the right modeling methodology given data and constraints to deliver clear business-focused insights.
• Champions global data science initiatives and acts as a leading subject matter expert with long-term vision.
• Influences a client's strategic decisions by deploying innovative analytics solutions in operational systems.

Your role in our mission

• Designs, develops, programs methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse big data sources using machine learning and predictive modeling tools.
• Builds analytic models to identify and quantify solutions to business problems. Interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to client, service, and business managers. Determines probable future outcomes and recommends and delivers new business process improvements.
• Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel towards build of software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
• Determines the right modeling methodology to the use case, available structured and unstructured data, cost and timing constraints to solve the large and complex business issues and delivers compelling and clear business focused insights
• Champions global intitiatives in data sciences- like building new centers of excellence ( by domain or technology); acts as leading subject matter expert providing guidance and long term vision
• Influences a client's strategic decisions by using deep industry expertise and deploying innovative analytics solutions in the operational systems

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of relevant experience in the area of statistics/analytics/machine learning
• Extensive knowledge of data science methodologies including but not limited to classical regression, neural nets, sequence analysis, cluster analysis, and text mining
• Experience with multi-dimensional and/or relational databases such as NoSQL, OLAP, and others
• Experience in manipulating high-volume, high-dimensionality data form varied sources using big data integration and analysis tools such as R, Matlab, SAS
• Experience with data cleansing, validation and general quality control principal

The pay range for this position is $99,200.00 - $141,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
