The role requires 3+ years of media sales experience, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and strong leadership. A mix of base salary, commissions and bonuses is offered with health and retirement benefits.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years media sales experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience preferred.
• Communication, leadership, collaboration and project management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to consistently hit deadlines and goals.
• Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to remain informed of competitive conditions.

Aufgaben

• Identify, prospect, and close new local business opportunities.
• Account Management: Manage and grow an established list of active clients, while creating new business ensuring their long-term success and ROI. Large part of this position is to be out in the market creating new business.
• Consultative Selling: Act as a marketing consultant for local business owners, helping them solve business challenges through creative advertising strategies.
• Community Representation: Serve as a visible brand ambassador for View Newspaper Group at local events, service clubs and nonprofit organizations.
