Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. seeks an Assistant General Counsel, Advertising & Marketing Counsel, to join our team. This role focuses on FDA-regulated consumer products, supporting advertising and marketing in the U.S.

and international markets, and counseling Marketing, Sales, Quality, Regulatory, and R&D on diverse matters. The role requires a strong FDA-regulatory foundation, practical business judgment, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and JD from accredited institutions.
• 10+ years of legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house corporate environment.
• Active member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.
• Experience with FDA-regulated consumer products and advertising.
• Strong ability to assess risks and provide practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Review product claims, substantiation, labeling, packaging and advertising.
• Serve as primary day-to-day counsel for assigned brands.
• Provide clear, timely legal advice and practical solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to drive timely resolutions.
• Develop expertise in evolving areas and take on additional responsibilities.
