Job summary

The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians seeks an Advertising Coordinator to manage project workflows for tribal business promotions. You will coordinate timelines, briefs, and artwork deliveries, ensuring on-time, high-quality production across digital and traditional media.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners, review proofs, and help organize proposals and presentations while adhering to tribal and legal standards.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
  • Must pass periodic random drug screens and background suitability investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project details for marketing and advertising projects.
  • Traffic proofs and obtain required approvals from internal/external partners.
  • Support creative development and production across digital and conventional media.

SUMMARY:This position is responsible for the coordination and project workflow of all advertising efforts in order to promote multiple Tribal business patronage and coordinate administrative and business details. This entails consistency performing our service expectations of: Welcoming, Proactive, Seamless, Personalized and Valued.Coordinate project details and information for various marketing related and advertising projects in support of tribal businesses.Proactively move client projects through the established workflow to meet deadlines.Develop and input detailed creative brief into project management system and in coordination with Advertising Manager, establish project timelines.Maintain and update project schedules in project management system.Obtain and confirm project details with internal and external partners.Obtain and distribute vendor estimates to internal partners and the department for approval.Coordinate the delivery of artwork to outside partners for production, follow through to ensure projects are delivered on time and of good quality.Update signage schedule for all digital and traditional signage.Traffic all project proofs for approvals with internal and external partners and ensure all required approvals are obtained prior to production.Assist in the organization of proposals and presentations.Review project proofs for accuracy of information and proofread English and/or Spanish ensure accuracy of information, consistency with administrative policy, format, and grammatical correctness.Responsible for functioning of office equipment; serve as liaison with service representatives.Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS) and legal requirementsPresent a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.Coordinate internal design team and external partners for all creative development and production requirements for conventional media and digital media.Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This job does not require supervisory duties.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (MUST BE DOCUMENTED):Must have High School diploma or GED equivalentSix (6) months to one (1) year related experience and/or trainingCERTIFICATION, LICENSES AND ANY ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must pass periodic random drug screens.Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee may be occasionally required to work in low light conditions, and may be exposed to loud noise for extended periods.WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Multiple locations.Some enterprises are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; therefore, you must be flexible to work any and all hours.Must be available for emergency calls 24/7.Must be available to work weekend and holidays.Some enterprises are gaming facilities.Some enterprises are not a smoke-free environment.Surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitor the premises recording activity throughout most of the facilities on 24 hours per day, 7 days per week basis.INDIAN PREFERENCE ACT:The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians has a resolution on file with Human Resources to ensure that Indian Preference will be adhered to in the following order in accordance with IPA:1.
