The Gazette in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Advertising Sales Coordinator to join the Sales Support team. You will deliver exceptional customer service, coordinate advertising, Milestones, Obituaries, and other content from first contact to billing and publication.

Responsibilities include liaising with sales, newsroom, production, and billing teams, ensuring accuracy and timely processing while upholding style guidelines and revenue goals. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Competenze

Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong knowledge of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading.
Ability to type 45–50 words per minute accurately.

Provide responsive, professional customer service by phone, email, and in person.
Advise customers on rates, deadlines, insertion options, and services.
Assist customers with advertising content and coordinates from initial contact through billing and publication.
Maintain knowledge of contracts, goals, needs, products, and services.
Coordinate ads by proofreading, submitting edits, and following through to completion.
Balance competing priorities and communicate timelines to customers and internal teams.
Cover front desk and assist walk-in customers during open hours.
