SailPoint is seeking an Adversary Intelligence Manager to lead a newly combined Red Team and CTI function within Cyber Defense Operations. This role focuses on adversary emulation, threat intelligence, and AI-enabled automation to improve detection and response readiness.

You will partner with the SOC, drive strategic risk assessments for executives, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and analysts. The position offers remote work or Austin, TX base with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in blended threat intelligence and offensive security operations.
• Strong understanding of threat emulation, intelligence analysis, and risk interpretation.
• Experience collaborating with SOC, IR, and detection engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead unified program: direct intelligence collection, analysis, and adversary emulation programs to inform red team campaigns.
• Pioneer AI and agentic innovation: build AI-driven workflows to scale threat intel and emulate adversaries.
• SOC partnership: co-design purple-team exercises and translate findings into detection rules and prevention strategies.
• Translate testing results into strategic risk profiles and executive-level recommendations.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of offensive security engineers and threat analysts.
• Oversee development of custom tools to automate data ingestion, reporting, and emulation.
• Present high-impact threat briefings and risk assessments to senior leadership.
