Job summary

Adobe is seeking a senior adversarial testing professional to design, execute, and automate tests against externally facing products and APIs. You will reproduce fraud and abuse attacks, build scalable tooling, and collaborate with Fraud Prevention, Product, Engineering and Security to strengthen defenses.

You will apply adversarial thinking to identify gaps, document findings, and help drive improvements across identity, payments, and entitlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of hands-on industry experience.
• Strong software engineering or technical automation skills, with proficiency in Python or similar language.
• Experience with REST APIs, HTTP, authentication, web apps, automation frameworks, and cloud systems.
• Experience building scripts/tools to test complex systems and behaviors.
• Must have Python, APIs/HTTP, automation, debugging, Git, data/SQL, and product-architecture understanding.
• Useful: JavaScript, cloud services, browser automation, CI/CD, security testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct adversarial testing of Adobe’s externally facing products, services, APIs, and fraud controls to identify exploit paths.
• Recreate real-world fraud/abuse attacks to map attack paths and test defenses.
• Design/build automated testing tools and scripts to simulate fraud at scale using APIs and Python.
• Develop test scenarios across account creation, identity, payments, entitlements, APIs, and experiences.
• Partner with Fraud Prevention, Product, Engineering, Security to communicate findings and mitigations.
• Test new/existing controls to assess effectiveness and strengthen detection and prevention.
• Retest mitigations to confirm attack paths are closed and identify alternative methods.
• Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations; help build repeatable testing capabilities.
• Stay current on fraud/abuse/AI-enabled attacks and apply learnings to Adobe’s defenses.
