The role requires real horsemanship, physical stamina, and a willingness to jump in where needed, from table chores to vehicle movement and guest interactions.

Qualifications

  • Reliability: dependable attendance and good communication.
  • Physical Ability: able to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions.
  • Driving and Trailer Skills: clean driving record; comfortable driving pickup trucks; trailer experience.
  • Mechanical and Maintenance Aptitude: basic tool use; willingness to help with repairs.
  • Problem Solving: adapt, think, and solve problems.
  • Guest Service: friendly, professional, respectful, and focused on guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Care for horses daily: feeding, watering, grooming, saddling, conditioning, and turnout.
  • Assist with tour operations: support guides, prep vehicles, and ensure guest safety.
  • Move and stage vehicles and trailers; help recover Tomcars as needed.
  • Shop and facility tasks: basic maintenance, cleaning, stocking, and organization.
  • Assist with trailering horses between ranch and tour locations.
  • Provide guest-facing interactions and safe, entertaining horse presentations.
  • Support events, private groups, and VIP experiences.
