Job summary

Marquette Mountain Resort seeks an Adventure Program Coordinator to manage day-to-day mountaineer program operations and develop new offerings. You will oversee ski school programs, summer youth programs, and assist the Adventure Manager in expanding adventure initiatives while ensuring a high-quality guest experience.

Applicants should have supervisory or coaching experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Demonstrated supervisory and instructing/coaching experience.
• Proficient in Google Suite and basic office equipment.
• Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, resources, and technology effectively.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Builds and structures offerings to leverage demand, terrain, rental equipment and staffing.
• Supervises staff, classes/lessons, and participating guests.
• Maintains excellent interpersonal relationships with guests and staff.
• Coordinate and conduct training sessions for new and returning personnel.
• Schedules and assigns staff according to guest needs.
• Upholds guest safety on varied terrain and weather conditions.
• Interviews and hires seasonal personnel; tracks paperwork and exits.
