Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Sales Outfitter to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet customers, demonstrate products, restock merchandise, and keep the sales floor organized while promoting club memberships and in-store pick-up options.

The role emphasizes friendly communication, product knowledge, and teamwork with store management and colleagues to ensure a legendary customer experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Demonstrate products and provide information and direction to customers.
• Replenish and restock merchandise on shelves as required.
• Keep work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and recommending products.
