Job summary

Two Rivers YMCA is seeking a Youth Assistant to guide children in the Kid's Adventure Center. You will supervise and nurture children aged 6 weeks to 10 years, communicate with parents, and support daily activities with safety in mind.

Responsibilities include welcoming members, maintaining records, and ensuring a clean play area while modeling YMCA values. The role requires CPR certification and the ability to manage multiple tasks with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with children ages infant to 10 years.
• Good communication with parents and staff is essential.
• Ability to follow safety rules and YMCA policies.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist all members and guests to ensure a positive experience.
• Supervise and nurture children, monitor safety and wellbeing.
• Maintain clean play areas and sanitize equipment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding policies and children’s needs.
• Attend staff meetings and keep required certifications current.
• Record attendance and incidents as required.
