Canadian Valley Technology Center El Reno Campus in El Reno, OK, seeks an Adjunct Instructor for the Ropes/Challenge Course to lead adventure-based activities, manage high- and low-element challenges, and guide participants in teamwork and personal growth.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, First Aid/CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain), and prior teaching experience is preferred. Training on equipment and safety will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher; or a minimum of one year related experience or training.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required or willingness to obtain this certification.
• Preference may be given for previous teaching experience.
• Ability to participate in hands-on demonstrations and safety checks for equipment.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with the ACCD Instructor Manual.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction and assess learning outcomes.
• Fulfill assigned schedule, maintain attendance, and ensure safety and equipment security.
• Collaborate with coordinator on curriculum development and safety policies.
• Mentor and guide students as a role model in team and individual training.
• Develop and update experiential curriculum aligned with client expectations.
• Conduct Experiential Systems training with climbing, belaying, and rescue techniques.
