Job summary

YMCA Camp Classen, located in Davis, Oklahoma, seeks energetic individuals to join as Ropes Course Facilitators. You will guide participants through high and low ropes elements and team-building activities in a dynamic outdoor setting.

No prior ropes course experience is required; full training and CPR/First Aid certification are provided upon hire. Flexible schedule with evenings/weekends, hourly pay $15.00–$18.00, and opportunities for growth within the YMCA OKC Association.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Strong communication and group management skills.
Comfort working at heights and in a harness.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to lead and motivate individuals and groups in a warm, positive manner.
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Experience with team-building curriculum.
Comfort with public speaking and facilitating group debriefs.

Responsibilities

Guide participants through high and low ropes elements and team-building initiatives.
Ensure safety, brief participants, and manage harness use as needed.
Lead and facilitate group debriefs and relate learnings to activities.
