Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking CV Techs / Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists across its Florida system. The role involves diagnostic imaging and procedures to support cardiovascular interventions, under supervision, with opportunities across multiple hospitals.

Ideal candidates will have a pathway to RCIS or ARRT certification, Florida licensure, and commitment to patient-centered care. Shift flexibility includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Formación

• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification. PALS may be required depending on unit specific needs.
• CVT — Cardiovascular Tech. RCIS certification required on hire; 12 CEUs per year (36 every 3 years).
• Rad Tech — Florida state license; ARRT certification; renewed yearly.

Responsabilidades

• Works under the supervision of a preceptor or charge person during orientation.
• Delivers appropriate care and ensures successful completion of procedures and protocols; assesses patient condition.
• Ensures patient education on procedure, needs, safety and comfort.
• Documents patient history accurately; verifies records for completeness and accuracy.
• Positions patient and equipment to obtain high-quality images for interpretation.
• Assesses image quality and ensures correct patient identification.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure where applicable.
• Provides physiological and hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
• Supports the Physician as a scrub assistant for cardiovascular procedures.
• Demonstrates aseptic technique and manages hemostasis after procedures.
• Operates and troubleshoots complex equipment; acts as training resource.
• Maintains professional communication with staff and patients; ensures inventory control.
• Ensures timely case turnover and workflow optimization for patient care.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work areas; adheres to policies.

Educación

Cardiovascular Technicians – new graduate or

AS degree in Radiologic Technology or certificate of graduation from radiology technology program
