The Advancement Writer & Content Specialist is a key member of the Strategic Engagement team in Dartmouth’s office of Medical and Healthcare Advancement ( MHA ), responsible for developing content across a diversity of media, audiences, and platforms. The incumbent is an exceptional writer, a clear communicator and a collaborative partner, charged with developing high-quality editorial content that advances institutional and philanthropic priorities from concept to publication. The position requires excellent editorial judgement and the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling content with the goal of inspiring audiences, strengthening engagement, and maximizing philanthropic support for Dartmouth Health and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Among other responsibilities, the Advancement Writer and Content Specialist serves as lead writer for MHA’s flagship publication, Vitals Magazine . The position reports to the Senior Content Manager and works in partnership with colleagues across the Content and Creative team, the wider Advancement office, and with colleagues in the Geisel School of Medicine and Dartmouth Health.
