Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking an Assistant Director of Advancement Operations to support the Harris School Alumni Relations team. You will manage projects, oversee data and communications, and coordinate event logistics to maximize donor engagement and fundraising impact.

The role requires strong writing and organizational skills, experience with fundraising operations, and comfort with a variety of tech tools. Hybrid schedule with in-person weekly collaboration is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related field.
• 2–5 years of work experience in a related discipline.
• Experience with fundraising, database management, or contact management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project management across Advancement programs and events.
• In-house Phoenix (Salesforce-based) power user for data extraction and analysis.
• Manage donor communications, event logistics, and gift acknowledgments.
