Job summary

Mattress Factory is seeking an Advancement Director in Pittsburgh to lead fundraising, membership, and marketing strategies. You will supervise the Development and Membership Manager and Marketing Manager, collaborating with the Executive Director to grow donor support and programmatic impact.

As a senior leader on the museum’s SLA team, you’ll cultivate major gifts, manage donor travel, and guide communications, events, and audience engagement to strengthen the museum’s mission and community

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in fundraising, development, or advancement.
Demonstrated success securing major gifts, grants, and sponsorships.
Experience supervising staff and collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Executive Director to set annual revenue goals.
Lead comprehensive fundraising, membership, and marketing programs.
Cultivate and steward major gift donors and prospects.
Oversee donor travel programs, garden party sponsorships, and events.
Guide communications and marketing initiatives to support fundraising goals.
Supervise and mentor the Development and Membership Manager and Marketing Manager.
