Job summary

Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is seeking an experienced Advancement professional to design and manage bespoke donor experiences. You will work with the Major Gifts team to cultivate prospects, steward major donors, and move relationships forward while managing a select donor portfolio.

You will identify programming for exhibitions, lead advancement events, and collaborate with Curatorial, Programming, Collections, and Membership teams to deepen philanthropic support.

Qualifications

• Professional fundraiser with minimum three years of fundraising experience.
• Experience securing six-figure gifts and donor stewardship.
• Excellent donor-relations strategies and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor engagement, cultivation and stewardship for major gift prospects.
• Identify programming and behind-the-scenes engagement for exhibitions.
• Lead Advancement-led events including receptions and donor recognitions.
• Serve as main contact for tour requests for Major Gifts Team.
• Maintain a portfolio of 15–30 households with six- to seven-figure capacity.
• Partner with Curatorial, Programming, Collections, Membership and Premiere Circle teams.
