Job summary

UC Davis Health in California is seeking a Clinical Nurse II for the Advanced Wound Care Clinic. You will deliver direct patient care, assess wounds, perform dressing changes, and participate in care coordination with a multidisciplinary team.

This on-site role emphasizes autonomous practice, evidence-based nursing, and patient education to improve outcomes. The position requires an active California RN license, BLS/CPR, and a wound care certification, with a minimum of 3 years of wound care

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse license without restriction.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or UC Davis Health CPR certification.
• One of CWCN, WTA-C, or WCC wound care certification.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 3 years wound care RN experience in inpatient/outpatient/home settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care including wound assessment and dressing changes.
• Administer immunizations and collect lab specimens as needed.
• Develop and update comprehensive wound care plan of care.
• Lead patient education and care coordination within a multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to policies, evidence-based practice, and professional standards.
