Job summary

Gradiant seeks a precise Lab Technician to join our advanced water analytical laboratory in Houston. You will operate state-of-the-art instrumentation (ICP, IC, TOC) and perform wet chemistry testing to characterize industrial streams and validate treatment systems.

Responsibilities include sample management, QA/QC, and data integrity, with collaboration across R&D, engineering, and client teams. A chemistry-based degree and EPA/ASTM method familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in chemistry or environmental science.
• Hands-on experience operating ICP, IC, or TOC instruments.
• Proficient in wet chemistry methods and automated titration.
• Familiar with EPA/ASTM Standard Methods for water and wastewater.

Responsibilities

• Operate and calibrate advanced analytical instrumentation (ICP, IC, TOC).
• Conduct routine bench tests (pH, conductivity, turbidity) per EPA/APHA protocols.
• Provide analytical support to R&D, projects, and external clients.
• Manage sample logistics, preservatives, reagents, and shipping kits.
• Perform preventive maintenance and service coordination for lab instruments.
• Maintain clear laboratory logs and ensure data integrity.
