Aspetuck Animal Hospital in New Preston, CT is seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited, busy state-of-the-art hospital. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• CVT or License is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones.
• Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy.
• Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Perform physical assessments and record your observations.
• Diagnostics (Radiographs, ECG, Blood Pressure, Venipuncture).
• Place IV catheters and administer treatments.
• Assist and monitor patients during surgery and provide emergency care.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or License (LVT) preferred but not required
