Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 3 years of veterinary assistant experience in a fast-paced GP or specialty/emergency service.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, take weight and vital signs on arrival.
• Triage, perform exams, treatments and med administration as directed by LVT/DVM.
• Calm anxious patients and assist with restraints.
• Maintain medical records and hospital equipment; ensure proper documentation.
