Job summary

Tire Discounters in Richmond, VA is seeking an Entry Level Tire Technician to help replace, repair, and rotate tires and support ongoing shop operations. You will receive hands-on training to build skills for more advanced roles within a family-owned automotive service retailer.

You’ll learn to operate balancers and tire machines, complete work orders accurately, and maintain a clean, safe shop. This entry-level role offers room to grow with our defined career paths and a welcoming team culture.

Qualifications

• Service-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team collaboration skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Available to work Saturdays.
• Authorized to work in the USA (18+).
• Comfortable with occasional mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair tires.
• Operate balancers and tire machines.
• Complete work orders accurately.
• Maintain and organize the shop and equipment.
• Assist customers and co-workers as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service by meeting the customers' needs.
• Promote a safe and collaborative work environment.
