Job summary

Aspen Skiing Company in Snowmass Village, Colorado, seeks an experienced Terrain Park Groomer Advanced to implement grooming plans and build on-snow features for skiers and riders.

You will work with Terrain Park Managers and other staff, operate winch cats, and ensure safety while shaping terrain. This role reports to the Terrain Park Director during the 2026-2027 winter season.

Applicants should have extensive grooming experience, be 18+, and commit to the resort's safety standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Approximately 5 years grooming experience and 2 years park host/crew experience.
• Experience with winch cats required; pipe cutting experience preferred (HPG/Zaugg).
• Experience with earth moving, chainsaws and heavy machinery.
• First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Terrain Park management to identify grooming requirements.
• Operate Snowcat equipment safely and efficiently.
• Understand terrain park layout and grooming routes.
• Build on-snow features per plans with management oversight.
• Complete park grooming requests promptly.
• Assist in training Terrain Park Groomers.
• Maintain daily Terrain Park Grooming Log.
• Support Ski Patrol during area closures.
