Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Health Technician (Telehealth Clinical), GS-7 Advanced, to provide high level support, training, and management of telehealth operations at Brunswick CBOC - Supply, NC.

Ideal candidates will have from the basic requirements through to the demonstrated KSAs, including telehealth proficiency and strong teamwork, with duties that may require travel to VA sites.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and programs to perform a variety of tasks.
• Ability to communicate, consult, and interact with the healthcare team, external relations, customer service and patient education.
• Ability to provide and receive guidance and technical direction.
• Ability to plan, organize, set priorities, work as a team member, and complete assignments.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply complex written instructions.
• Knowledge of general clinical policies and procedures in a healthcare environment.
• Skilled in the use of telehealth technologies for telehealth encounters.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level support and management of telehealth operations.
• Train staff on telehealth technologies and workflows.
• Travel to VA sites as needed to support telehealth deployment and operations.
