Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Surgical Technologist is required.
• Anticipates surgeons' needs and demonstrates advanced knowledge and ability to independently perform roles and tasks related to surgical technology.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies and equipment during the surgical procedure.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure.
• Assist the surgeon as needed to maintain department cost containment, efficiency, and quality performance.
