Responsibilities

• Follows protocols for cleaning, decontaminating, preparing, packaging, disinfecting or sterilizing, and storing supplies.
• Assembles complex instrument trays and sets for procedures.
• Distributes supplies within the facility with proper documentation.
• Monitors and documents results of indicators for sterilization processes.
• Operates sterilization and decontamination equipment and performs routine maintenance.
• Implements process improvements and supports junior staff.
