Xcel Energy in Minot, North Dakota is hiring for an Advanced Step Apprentice (3rd Step or above) / Journeyman Lineman. The role involves working on overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems with a strong safety focus.

Expect a base pay scale with progression as you advance steps, plus a robust benefits package. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a relevant line school diploma or Journeyman certificate, a valid Class A CDL, and be within 20

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a degree/diploma from an accepted Line School or a state issued Journeyman certificate for an Advanced step position.
• Must possess a state issued Journeyman certificate and pass a company skills assessment for a Journeyman position.
• Must meet driver qualification requirements, including the possession of a valid Commercial Class A Driver's License.
• Must be physically capable of performing all aspects of electric overhead and underground distribution, construction, operations, and maintenance work.
• Must have good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must presently be qualified to be a 3rd Step Apprentice Lineman or higher.
• Must be self-motivated and possess a positive attitude.
• Demonstrated commitment to work safely and productively.
