As a software developer, you will:

• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including stakeholders and leadership to develop optimal solutions
• Maintain, support, and enhance existing systems and platforms
• Document technical aspects for users and end-user documentation
• Work within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment, utilizing services like S3
• Support and back up team members and infrastructure

Qualifications:

Candidates must have the following to succeed:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university (verified prior to start)

OR

• High School Diploma/GED or higher with six (6) years of software industry experience in lieu of a degree

• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Java, or scripting languages (Perl, JavaScript)

• At least 2+ years of SQL and relational database design experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)

Additional desirable qualifications include:

• Teamwork ability
• Bachelor's in computer science
• Proficiency in Python and object-oriented design
• Experience with IDEs like PyCharm, Eclipse, or Visual Studio
• Version control experience (Git, SVN, CodeCommit)
• Quick learner of new tools and technologies
• Familiarity with F#, AWS, procedural SQL, Agile Scrum, healthcare claims processing, and health information systems
