Job summary

Vail Resorts in Bartlett, NH is hiring for winter seasonal snowmaking roles for 2026/27. Join our mountain team to operate snowmaking equipment, learn quality checks, and contribute to operations. 

Starting pay ranges from $25.25 to $30.61 per hour, with full-time hours available. Housing is provided and benefits include ski passes, discounts, retirement plan, and training opportunities.

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate all transportation vehicles as per SOPs.
• Understand and teach proper snowmaking quality checks.
• Assist snowmaking lead with day-to-day operations.
• Understand and operate snowmaking pumps, compressors, manual and automated snowmaking guns.
• Maintain snowmaking equipment and buildings as directed.
• Complete assigned tasks while unsupervised.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage: $25.25/hr - $30.61/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and teach proper snowmaking quality checks
• Assist snowmaking lead with day-to-day operations
• Understand and operate snowmaking pumps, compressors, manual and automated snowmaking guns
• Maintain snowmaking equipment and buildings as directed
• Ability to complete assigned tasks while unsupervised
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lb

The expected pay range is$25.25/hr - $30.61/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
