Job summary

INSPYR Solutions in Savannah, GA seeks Security Technician II/III for contract-to-hire. Responsibilities include inspecting sites, installing, maintaining security systems, mounting panels, testing circuits, and ensuring proper operation of alarms, sensors, and cameras.

Requires US citizenship, GC or work authorization. You will document work, stay informed on new products, troubleshoot hardware and network issues, follow electrical blueprints, and complete projects on time and safely, upholding

Qualifications

• Work requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
• Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
• Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, and video cameras, and attach electrical and telephone wiring to connect components.
• Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
• Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and all security features to ensure proper functioning, and to diagnose malfunctions.
• Keep informed of new products and developments.
• Request orders for replacement parts.
• Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.
• Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and basic network related problems encountered by end-users of the network.
• Has an understanding of IPV4 and how to assign a computer an IP address.
• Complete projects within budget, on time, and in a safe manner.
• Maintain the company's high standards of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, customer relations, and team members.
• Submit all paperwork on time.
• Adhere to all required project specific as well as company safety requirements.
